Standardized Testing

Dear HVC members!

As school year's end approaches, it is time to start thinking about standardized testing. I will be coordinating the effort to provide this testing at the end of the semester (May 31st and June 1st) for HVC students. Starting next Tuesday (March 14th) there will be a sign-up sheet at the front desk each Tues and Thurs until March 30. I need to put in our group order by the end of March to ensure we can get the number of tests we will need during 'peak season'.

Please include a check with your registration made out to HVC.

Along with the sign up sheet, I will also have a sheet for email addresses. Helen will send updates through her normal 'group emails', but we want to make sure we have correct emails for all test requestors.

We are ordering from Family Learning Organization (www.familylearning.org). If you would like to visit their website, you can see the different testing options. My plan is to offer either the CAT Survey ($41) or the Terra Nova 2nd Edition ($44). Prices are based on us ordering for at least 10 students. If there is a need for any additional type of test, please email me privately and we will try to accommodate.
